Not really sure why you’ve been downvoted as in reality, this is how most people would want their long term partner to react.
However, to your comment about men being more likely to leave when the other half is ill. Women are notorious for bailing on relationships when the man runs out of money, is sick, or a better option comes along. Just look at who initiates 80% of divorces. I like your post, but had to call you out on that BS narrative you tried to peddle.
