Dating is about finding out if what a person already is fits with our idea of a good partner. It's not about taking someone with already established patterns and trying to turn them into someone we'd want to be with. This is her, as she is, as she will always be. Your only job (and the only thing you're morally allowed to do) is to decide if what she is is what you want. If she's not what you want then you need to end the relationship. We don't get to try to make people over into our own image of perfection.
