Women are put under a lot of pressure to be “cool” about porn. We are told we are crazy and insecure if we feel upset by our partner looking at and jerking off to other women. Imo women evolved to feel threatened by the idea of their partner's sexual interest in others. Lots of women genuinely are fine with it, which is great, but some just suffer in silence due to fear of being called controlling. If your partner does feel upset by it, that doesn't mean she's necessarily going to ban porn. Just that she would prefer not to know you're using it or see the exact women you're jerking off to. It can bring up a lot of feelings of inadequacy.
I just wish people made more space for women's feelings of insecurity around porn so they at least didn't feel they had to pretend to be unbothered by it.
