A healthy relationship is when you feel loved by your partner and safe around them to express any thoughts you have and feel like you won't be judged. You'd want to share your joys in life even if it's little mundane things, and you'd also want to hear about how was his day, what he ate and if he had made new friends at work. This person should be someone that you feel like would come to your aid no matter what and how far he is from you physically. Do you miss him when he's not there? Does he tell you he missed you when he hasn't seen you for a while? Do little things make you think of him? Do you laugh with him and enjoy his company? Do you respect him and does he respect you?
And then other things depends on what your love language is, if it's physical touch, affirmations, acts of service etc. Is he responding to you according to your love language? Even if he's not sharing the same love language (for example it could be sweet words for you) does he try to satisfy you by responding to you in this love language? Do you also want to satisfy him according to his love language?
