Yep. Also insane how much advice is basically “omg he looked at another woman he is a cheater and a horrible person leave him now”.
It is easy to tell the ones who have either not had healthy relationships or have very little relationship experience.
On point too many people put way too much importance on things that should not matter. I am mostly republican and my GF is mostly liberal. We get along fine because we never allow politics to rule or dominate the relationship. We discuss topics ina civil manner and if we don’t agree then fine. We still love and respect each other.
We have been together since June of last year. I know it doesn't seem long but we had a history going back many years. Never ever had an issue. My ex trash talks her to my daughter, who in turn completely disrespects her. My daughter is only 10 and admits it. She is jealous and I understand that. And yes, she does have kids but they're grown. I'm really at a loss here.
