I don’t like this, OP. That sounds more like he’s used to being the controlling one in the relationship, the one calling the shots. But you don’t bend over backwards to his manipulating tactics – come over, don’t come over, etc. I know you said you won’t let him get away with this behavior, but don’t put up with it either. It gets old quick and at this point in your relationship timeline, things should be easier and fun while you’re getting to know each other.
