That’s all well and good but that does not mean she was not wrong in the end. The resentment is warranted.
Be an asshole. If they’re people who don’t hear you when you speak then stop speaking. You can discuss with your father, and forgive him for whatever he says but ultimately move on with your life. Parents hold us in such shackles it’s annoying.
You are still very young but realistically, you have a baby and a husband, that’s action enough to be considered an adult. You need to make your own decisions at this point with your family (your husband and baby) in mind. Not your father. It’s going to be difficult going against him but he should not be dictating what you do as an adult.
He is doing it intentionally. It’s been 2 years since you came out – he’s choosing not to respect this request. I wouldn’t be continuing a relationship with someone who has such a lack of respect for something this important to me
