After a lot of deliberation and a talk with my therapist, I came up with the courage to be honest with my partner and openly communicate a bit of what I was feeling in the hopes of saving our relationship. I didn't tell him I was never attracted to him physically. I tried to explain to him that I had lost my attraction for him partly because of our complicated sex life, which is a bit different in my opinion. He already knew something was off because our sex life was strained and recently just didn't exist. And it was something I apologized deeply for to him.
