If he's only been there for one week it seems like you're asking a lot from him in a short space of time. Additionally, it's a big change for him to adjust to as well. I'm not saying he's behaving well but if it's literally only been a week it feels like you're jumping the gun a bit to throw it all in. Have you tried talking to him about it and understanding how it is for him? What his expectations were of living together and expressed yours?
I think since everything is still early between them, then maybe you should talk to her and tell her how you really feel, you’ve got nothing to lose at this point, if she reciprocates the same feelings then maybe you can still salvage this, if she doesn’t then you can back off and try to move on!
Yea, I think that’s why I started this thread in the first place. A lot of people helped my understand the difference and the fact that it was ok to reevaluate this as not being a dealbreaker.
