My one regret in life is staying too long with my abuser. Years later I deal with so much trauma related to it still. I wish I had left earlier. I promise you, I swear to god, your boyfriend is not any better than my ex. It doesn’t matter if it was an accident etc. Judges are SO lenient with domestic abusers, the fact he was in jail for it shows this shit was horrible. Also, girl, if you take him back after jail then he could just do whatever in the world to you. Abusive relationships are DEADLY.
