It’s not a regular thing, and I did fight with myself about it, however after what I found the first time I definitely have a reason. I originally went through it because he randomly started acting very territorial about it and snatching it if I picked it up.

I think that OP should keep the ring . When it was given to her , everything was done according to tradition . The older sister should acknowledge and accept that . Who has the ring is irrelevant to the older sister being accepted for who she is .
