Your girlfriend wants to hurt you. She putting your children at risk of being abused and doesn't care. What she's doing is cruel and it is a type of abuse. There is NO justifiable reason for her actions.
She's like those people that cover for child molesters and pressure people they raped to be around him. Instead of protecting the children, they serve them up to be raped by a monster. There is no excuse for what your girlfriend is doing.
You need to leave her, or at least separate for a while. Cut off all contact that's not related to the children, and communicate through a parenting app. You can't delete messages from the parenting apps. That will help you protect your kids from your mother. Once you set up the app, ask her not to allow your children around your mother because you are afraid she will abuse them, like she abused you.
Your girlfriend needs a reality check. Let her see what life without you is really like. Let her know thar she doesn't have the right to hurt you or put your children at risk. And that if she does, you will inform the courts about it.

In all honesty you shut the hell up and listen to him. Don't give him a pity party of you being lonely and was happy someone was finally interested in you. You hurt your son. You knew you'd hurt your son. You lied to his face and missed important things in his life and rather then trying to make it up to your son you moved on with your life. He lost his friend and his mother. “me and my son against the world” until someone is interest in you and you drop him.
You seriously need to deal with whatever he has to say to you. Take the criticism, take the anger he may still hold for you and his friend.
