Nope. He sat me down, put food in front of me and sat there talking to me and trying to cheer me up until I ate it all. He helped me start eating again.
And I would be equally mad if I was unhealthy in theother direction. He helps us both choose veggies and fruit over snacks if we had too many that week. I also do that. Partners are supposed to want to live a long and happy life together. Not encourage unhealthy behaviour.
Oh I think the misinterpretation it’s only my property that’s heavy from a financial perspective. Her property is more manageable. She also has the ability to pickup overtime at any time due to her career choice. So if she needs extra cash she just works more. It was never my intention to carry my property on my own either.
The two properties combined are heavy from a work perspective. They both require many hours of upkeep labour just to keep them running. The renovations are mainly cosmetic, so they are not required at any given time. I end up doing the brunt of this work.
Honestly a big part of it for both of us is lifestyle. We have both become accustom to living a certain way. Keeping both properties means dialling that back a lot and living very frugally and being potentially exposed to an unfavourable repair situation. IE her septic and mine both break and now instead of doing a reno we spend 5 years paying that off…

Physically picking you up and laying you down on the couch is immensely concerning and demonstrates that he is willing to use force against you. You are not safe sharing a space with this man- he will continue to assault and abuse you.
