? I genuinely don't understand the logic here. This would make it practically impossible to even explain sexist beliefs because saying them is sexism in every instance.
You don't strike me as a person with a real conviction to stop sexism at all. This is a very immature and simple way to look at an issue.
All I said was “this thing, which we commonly accept as sexism, is comparable to what happened to you, meaning you experienced sexism” and that makes me sexist.
Really think on this logic.
I saw some of them later when he used his phone to show me something else. One thing I didn’t mention in the post is that her kid was also in the photos that I saw. He is little, and you still see her and the bikini. He maybe took more of her when they were alone for a bit and before the kid came up to meet her later. But if he just randomly started to take photos, that is a bit weird. She must have known he was taking photos from the ones that I saw at least. He is in front of them and very close up
I guess I just can’t imagine a situation in which there isn’t an inherent power imbalance in such an age gap. Especially when the younger partner is in their early 20s and the elder in their 30s or older.
I appreciate your perspective. It would be silly to say such an age gap can never work. But I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a healthy example of it.
