Listen, I would simply refuse to play video games with him until he can moderate how he talks to you. Yes, there are a lot of people who get aggressive playing video games, but if he's yelling at you and being a jerk about it enough to make you cry for a solid hour, I would consider how he treats you overall. A slip here and there might be acceptable after you've told him it makes you feel small but I would stop completely if it continues and he doesn't follow up with an apology for making you feel that way.
