Because the relationship wasn’t going well due to various reasons. I was feeling alienated by her actions and instead of finding a solution that she proposed, I refused it and had broken up with her. Under any circumstances, I have never cheated on her, btw.
After a while, besides from missing her, her kisses, affection and what not. I realized how good person she actually was. She had assisted me with the thesis (prior to get my bachelor’s degree) and she was there for me when I had a car accident and many more. That’s when repentance popped up and decided to do as much as possible to get her back. She’s obviously broken and I’m being seen as untrustworthy, I’m doing everything at my disposal to regain that confidence I made her lose on me.
As far as I’m concerned, her best friend is gay and actually dating a dude, he’s just the way he is and I love how he does spend his time talking bs about me, because it means that there’s time to think about me, every single time.

You’re so conditioned to take up for her. What she did was assault and child endangerment. She is not a partner I would be with. She’s unstable. A jealous hearted person would literally hurt you and put the blame on the victim because they made them do it. She needs counseling and immediate help. You said the jealous has gotten better because you’re down to one or two interrogations a week!?!?! Are you a detainee or a boyfriend (partner)? She needs help and this is not an healthy environment to raise a kid. Next thing you know is that she’s going to accuse you of liking one of the daycare workers. It’s only a matter of time before you’re banned to go pick your kid!!! This is crazy!!!
