  1. Sorry dude, but sounds like the both of you have some growing up to do.

I would address this situation with your GF, but I feel your attitude is out of place…

If you want a genuine relationship, you're not always going to be the priority. Your GF is not going to give you every single weekend, she is going to spend time with her friends.

    Deal with it.

Additionally, her spending time with her friends should be something that you want for her.

And its on you, to know what an appropriate balance is. At no point, should you make her feel guilty for spending time with her friends.

The fact that you're allowing this type of thing escalate into fights, with her friend… shows a lack of maturity.

    This:

I feel like I have the right to be pissed off im her boyfriend

Is never okay in 95% of scenarios.

Unless your GF is grinding on dudes, giving her number away, flirting with others… drop that mindset that you have a right to get 'pissed because your her boyfriend'… That is entitled and controlling attitude. Its never a right to get pissed at your GF because you're upset. That is abuse.

So, what you should do now… is apologize to everyone involved. And then approach the conversation again like an adult.

    Tell her:

Sorry that I was acting out of line with you and your friend. I am sorry for generating conflicts.

I am new to relationships and I struggle with communicating in a productive manner.

The thing is, I love spending time with you on the weekends. And of course I don't to take you away from your friends because your friends are important to you.

But what I don't like is when we have plans and you cancel last minute on me. I adjust my nights and get my hopes up… and when you cancel on me, then I feel like I adjusted my plans for nothing.

I am willing to be flexible when exciting things come up for you… But the frequency lately is something that I am not fond of.

Can we work on this in our relationship?

Arguing and being pissy with someone is not how you win them over.

You win them over by taking a calm and collective approach.

You don't go in there saying:

I am your bf, ooo rah, give me give me give me, I am pissed!

Adjust your communication to a more softer approach and perhaps you will see better results.
