Why do people think they need definitive proof as in walking in and watching their partner fuck someone else? This isn’t a court of law. You don’t trust her. You don’t believe her, and you probably shouldn’t judging solely on your version. Move on. Certainly don’t get married.
Thank you I appreciate your kindness and tact. As soon as I realised I had feelings for him I tried to avoid him as much as possible, I'm not really sure if I did or said anything to make him think I like him. The only thing I can think of is if it was something subconscious in my body language but the people I work with can sometimes be dangerous so physically I am always keeping as much distance as possible. The comments he made were along the lines of that I would be a good girlfriend to someone and he was trying to gage whether I was in a relationship or not which I shut down straight away and said I can't discuss. I think his attachment to me is more about the fact that he actively dislikes a lot of the other staff members and does not trust them. To be honest I think me leaving is the only way forward so that will be my plan now, again thank you for your input I appreciate it.
What do you actually get out of this “relationship”? It honestly sounds exhausting. I'd cut your losses at this stage and find someone who you can actually spend time with, and whose company you enjoy.
