YES, EXACTLY!!!! If he is willing to go to counseling, GO! It sounds like there is still love & respect & willingness in your marriage, you just need some tools to communicate better, and be able to disagree in a health way.
Most of us are not taught these tools & then we feel shame or stigma over asking for help. Why do we do that? If our car broke down, we wouldn't feel shame over not knowing how to fix it, would we? Why do we feel shame over not automatically knowing how to communicate or fix our relationships? (I'm asking myself this, too!) This stuff is not easy!
