No offense but your daughter knows she has another living option and won’t go there…it’s hard to feel bad when she’s choosing to live in the worse of two households. You need to keep your peace it sounds like your family is drama tbh. Sorry.
I highly recommend getting a job. I’m not trying to judge but if you don’t have children I don’t see the need for one spouse to be a homemaker. And it’s a dangerous situation to be in as a (very) young woman with no financial independence of her own should things go bad.

I once got 20 roses and a bag of chinese crab chips from a boyfriend from a special restaurant we had been eating at. I loved them.
I have never forgotten that and it is now 39 years in the past.
