I think it's VERY reasonable to ask her to cut off the guy she has cheated on her ex with. And who she “had to tell him” about you, as if it'd make the guy jealous and expected him to react badly to that news. And also him acting jealous and dismissive at the beginning.
She can choose the guy she cheated on her ex with and seemingly does not respect your relationship. Or you, her boyfriend. That guy is not a “friend”.
