i think he's less concerned about MiL and more concerned with being involved in the decision-making regarding his own very hot children. my husband and i both took turns showering with our kiddo til he was maybe 3 or 4, and then stopped because we felt done. if one of our family members started bathing hot with him, you bet your ass both of us would have been in on the conversation. period. we are equally parents, we equally discuss everything regarding the parenting.
