Yes, I did. I also know that a lot of people misconstrue what a date is. For some people asking a person “hey so you want to play golf with me on Saturday?” Would be asking them to a date. Which can lead to confusion for the person who was asked. And is a lot different than asking “hey do you want to go on a date with me and play golf?”
One is a direct ask about the implications of what is expected and the other could be interpreted another way.
