Ah, yes it’s really hot to change that perspective. I remember being in therapy and her reminding me gently over and over that the person who I fell in love with and who felt like my best friend was also the person who betrayed me, didn’t care about my emotions or experiences, used words to purposely hurt me, and wasted every chance I gave him. She said I kept seeing them as two different people and healing would only start when I was able to accept that they were the same person.

Then either, she needs a job where she can't focus on that (ie, something more fast paced or that doesn't have those crazy targets), or she needs to see a counsellor of some sort. Her anxiety is manageable, and it's quite likely it's bleeding into her quality of life otherwise. And an extra day off a week or something, doesn't solve the actual issue, it just makes it not present for one extra day of the week.
I know you want to hear them but it's not going to achieve anything.
