But from an outside view this seems like a really versatile thing to be so hell-bent on. Hair length is not like height or your penis length. It's a fashion choice. It's like you deciding to grow a beard or get a buzz cut.
You can tell her that you loved her hair longer just like she could tell you that she liked your beard or not. Whether she lets it grow back is her decision just like you shaving or not.
But having a haircut be the deciding factor whether you're attracted at all seems a bit much. Are you aware that hair changes? When she gets older it will change colour, it will develop a different texture. Your hair may fall out or get grey. Will you divorce her when she gets grey hair? Or it starts getting curlier? And let's not start about hair that falls out for health reasons. Are you going to leave her if she gets cancer and loses her hair. Then better tell her that now.
Is this just a preference thing? Then just tell her you really liked her long hair. If it's a deal breaker then you're going to have trouble with all women you could date since hair doesn't stay the same.

My 22 year old son is gay. My parents are Christian and 88 and 92. They don’t feel any differently about him. I hate that you deal with this.
