My son is 2 now but early on, the desperate need for sleep was unreal. If my husband had “gotten ready for bed” at 1am and woken our child each time, he definitely would have been sleeping in the guest room and I would have some deep resentment growing. The part I don’t get in your routine is getting ready for bed. You need to be doing that before she sleeps or outside the room. Thats significantly too much movement for a sleeping mother and baby. If you want to go to sleep at last as 1am you need to be slipping in like a freaking ninja. Otherwise your being outright inconsiderate.
