LOL. I've never heard of someone keeping a dead pets hair, so I'm also surprised by some of the comments. I have some clay imprints of paws. Vets often offer those when you pet gets put down. Those I like, they're a cute reminder and can become part of decor, on a mantle or something.
You need to reassess the way you are viewing and approaching your relationship. Your boyfriend is not one of your girlfriends who you chat with. The truth is that men and women communicate differently.
What else do you want from him? He's already doing weekly check ins with you. He's telling you that nothing is wrong. He's obviously committed to you and putting in the work.
