He has kind of almost made it impossible for me to leave. He convinced me to quit my job and stay home with our daughter after she was born and he would take care of us. I try to make money reselling items so I can have something of my own but he always wants me to contribute to some of the bills. So I’m not left with much.
I have left before when things have gotten bad and stayed with family but he always talks me into coming back promising things will be different. They are ok for a little bit but then it’s right back to the same thing.
I’m at the point where I do want to leave permanently. Just need to basically start over and sometimes the thought of that alone is debilitating.
