All of the information being shared in this post is very conflicting and confusing. It says incubation is up to 14 days, and that being dormant still tests positive, but everyone else is like “So and so had it and slept with 100 people and none of them got it.” so I'm confused.
I slept with a guy, months later took a test, negative all around. Got pregnant months after that and got tested again and it came back positive. He tried to blame it on a “dormant infection.” Saying I didnt test positive because his infection was dormant. I couldnt find any information online to if you still test positive during a dormant infection, or if you still pass it with a dormant infection. Posts like this just confused me more. Did he cheat? Did he not cheat? Science says yes, but comments say otherwise. I'm so confused.
If a guy is willing to lie about where he's at, he's also willing to lie about other things. Dump him and move on. He's most likely cheating.
Had the same thing happen to me last night. Asked him what he was doing and he said he was just leaving work. 20 mins later he's at home, but the trip home takes 40 mins. I found proof later in the night that he was ALREADY home when he told me he was just leaving work.
What did I do? Tell him I know he lied about something and tried to get him to confess. He played dumb and said he had no idea what he lied about. He had no idea because he lied multiple times and didn't know WHICH lie I had found out about. As soon as I told him which lie it was, he tried to gaslight me and suddenly was so tired and relaxed and needed to sleep. He suddenly got comfortable because he knew that I hadn't found proof of worse lies. I don't need proof of worse lies. I know he doesn't care about me or respect me and the lying and betrayal won't end.
