She doesn't sound like a good friend to you at the moment. Would you try to talk to her about this? Your mom's illness is definitely a time when you need your friend's support. Perhaps she's just a little self obsessed (we all can be at times) and hasn't thought about the impact her actions or inaction has on you
Honestly mine (of 6 years) has slowly been getting worse on certain topics but hasn't made it quite where yours has gone. I'll give the advice I think we both need, and tell you that it's better to cut it off now than to wait for it to keep getting worse, or until you have children with this guy.
