I don’t disagree. A person can’t help what they feel. But she doesn’t deserve to be with someone that feels like she cheated on him when she didn’t.
Let it go and stay no contact. She has friends and family that she can reach out to for help. If people make the connection to you about the comic, just say you don't know and you don't talk to her anymore. Dismiss it and move on as it's just a call for attention again and not in a healthy way.
