I'm a woman and a similar situation to this happened to me at uni, and countless of my female friends were led on/rejected/embarrassed/heartbroken by guys we knew. I would give OP exactly the same advice if she was a girl, being 20 is hard and all the people around you are horny drunk eejit's, but you can't blow up your friendship circle over every hurt feeling.
I cried my eyes out, stormed home and ate loads of ice cream when a guy who'd said he liked me kissed another girl in front of me on a night out. Then I sulked for a few days, pulled myself together, told him we could still be friends and moved on. Holding a grudge and maintaining feuds in a university friend group is bloody exhausting and rarely worth the hassle.
