Ahhh ok I understand the hypocrite comment better now. It’s a good point.
I suppose I don’t see my behavior as disrespectful because I don’t post provocative sexy photos (not that there’s anything wrong with that if someone wants to). I just don’t, I’m more conservative with that kind of thing. My photos are the type you’d see in a magazine – usually wearing nice clothes, though occasionally in bikinis too so that’s fair. I also don’t interact with anyone who follows me that I don’t know. I don’t respond to messages/comments from people I don’t know. I also very rarely post on social media because it’s not my thing, I just happen to have a lot of followers because I’ve done some big jobs with big brands.
So I suppose I see it as he is actively giving his attention to the Instagram models he follows and likes photos of. People may be giving me attention on social media, but I’m not returning their attention. I was posting this hoping people could help me put into perspective whether that’s reasonable, or a product of overthinking. Guess I didn’t do a great job of articulating my concerns.
