Why don't you write a list of what you will do differently? You have lost the weight and started to heal some trauma-now what? What will the new year hold? What are your new goals and how will you continue? Will you seek therapy? Can you start a new hobby that is more physical?
I promise I’m not trying to be rude but why do I need counseling? I’m just upset my sister didn’t take my side when I feel like she should have. Okay yeah she might have other people she’s close with like she is with me or maybe even closer but I’m just upset because she didn’t defend me.
My boyfriend doesn’t think anything about my family dynamic, I’m not sure why that is even important.
I think. Couples therapy can work. But people go as the very end when it's too late. Therapy takes a very long time to work so you'd need like a few months to see some real results and that might not be enough for couples who are close to divorce
You might request two visits per week. Also if your insurance covers it why not?

My bf and I are in couples therapy and it's definitely helped though we are having troubles we would prob be close to breaking up if we didn't have the session .
Just because something is shallow doesn't make it immoral. If you have a desire for more sex and you're not getting it at the moment, then it'd be the right thing to break up with your girlfriend first. I'm just highlighting that this isn't going to be smooth. She will get hurt, and I'm just hoping you realize that and take the necessary steps to be as tactful as possible when letting her down.
