I am going to have to agree with him here. You told a man that seemed to really want to love you that you wouldn't want what he had to offer and so he just rode with it. Now that you know about him and you care, why should he? You started the spite chain, he just played by your rules. I totally get what you are saying but now you have to make her understand…you may need to spell it out for her. You respect her by not having female friends and she is not respecting you. I don't think you are possessive…I just think you are playing by the rules and she is not. I feel the same way you do…my ex and I agreed that we would not have friends of the opposite sex by ourselves…meaning the friend couldn't be just his friend she would have to be my friend too and no hanging out with the opposite one on one and he broke that agreement and I felt disrespected.
