I feel like more blame should be laid at the feet of the 39 year old married father who’s been sleeping with very young family friends tbh. Her mother died and she didn’t have any family, and this creepy older dude, who should have seen her more as a sister who needed help, saw her as someone to have sex with? Hell no. Absolutely! There is a thing called basic respect, but people define it differently. Even in cases where most can agree on what does and does not constitute respect, (e.g. Don't waltz into other people's bedrooms!) others don't always meet the standard.
I am not arguing that the mother should not stop doing this. If she wrote to us and asked whether or not she should enter her adult son's room I would say No.
But she has not asked us and the OP cannot solve this problem by expecting to dictate how other tenants in this shared household conduct themselves.
She is not the homeowner and she is benefiting from a very inexpensive place to online so she needs to take the good with the bad.
